EXPORTS WITHOUT TARGET AND CONTROL
Every year, tens of thousands of female cattle are transported from Austria to countries such as Algeria.
These animals carry an unborn calf and are said to be used to build up a cattle population.
But what really happens to them on the ground remains a mystery.

How do you want to find the cows?
FARMS, LIVESTOCK MARKETS AND SLAUGHTERHOUSES
We specifically search for cows and their calves at livestock markets, farms and slaughterhouses.
We talk to people on the ground because we don’t get any answers in Austria.
In this way, we ensure transparency and expose the machinations of the profiteers.
Is anyone reporting on your work?
